Snacks with Friends

posted by: Kia

When Hannah has a friend over we’re always sure to put together a little snack for the girls to enjoy together.  They all know that when they come over to the rainbow house the snacks will be fruits and veggies!  We don’t have the typical and popular “kid snacks” around here (we find it’s just easier to not bring that kind of food into the house…less temptation that way) so we make sure to always have a good variety of produce so that her friends can choose their favorites.  And for those that really don’t like fruits and veggies…we make them plain popcorn :)

I usually find that even her friends that are picky eaters will end up munching on the snacks. I think it’s either because they’re hungry or they just know that’s all we have to offer them!
