Tomorrow morning Hannah and I will be getting on a plane and heading to Chicago to speak at the McDonald’s shareholders meeting. We’ll have the ear of CEO Don Thompson and other executives of McDonald’s and that is an opportunity we are very grateful to have thanks to Corporate Accountability International. It’s certainly not every day that a 9 yr old gets the chance to represent her generation at such a big event, Hannah has grown up knowing that kids need to be powere

When we started on this Rainbow Eating journey 5 years ago Hannah was just 4.5 years old! I wanted to make eating fruits and veggies fun for her while getting her into the habit of eating produce every single day. When our rainbow chart worked so well for us and encouraged her to take part in the food she was eating we knew we wanted to make this tool available for other families. We had a less than tiny budget so we had to do our best to get creative with our packaging and marketing…l

Hannah and I had the pleasure of being interviewed and photographed by Bruce Kemp for Okanagan Life Magazine…the article is now out in their Spring issue! We really appreciate the opportunity to spread our Rainbow Eating message through this article and we both had a blast hanging out with Mr. Bruce! One of my favorite parts of the article “Hannah is a nine-year-old cutie with a real Pippi Longstocking appeal, making her a natural on camera.” We agree 100% with Mr. Bruce̵

Juicing is a great (and fun) way to enjoy fruits and veggies…the combinations are endless. We really like this video by Breville (we have their juicer and love it!) and wanted to share it with you! We also have our own juicing video for you and your kids to enjoy! Happy Healthy Drinking Kia

Have you heard about the Food Revolution’s back-to-school campaign to support better food education through their fundraising tool – the Food Revolution Giving Assistant?
