The Kids Cook Monday

posted by: Kia

We are so excited to see that The Kids Cook Monday have a new website up and running!!!  Their website is a fantastic resource…if you have kids you’ll definitely want to check it out! If you browse through our blog categories you will see one that is just devoted to our Kids Cook Monday posts!

This weekend was our big Spring Cleaning time at our house so we just ate left overs :)   But we always have time for fun so when Hannah found some plasticine we had a great time making our favorite fruit and veggies!  I think that any chance we get as parents to incorporate fruits and vegetables we should take it…even if it’s just during play time and no actual food is involved.

I recently came across a website called Comiditas that makes toy fruits and vegetables…they are adorable…I’m definitely ordering some for Hannah and I to play with!  Play is a great opportunity to reinforce healthy habits!

Head over to the new Kids Cook Monday site and enjoy all the amazing information and resources that they have put together!

  1. These are so cute, and so were the Comiditas stuffed fruits and veggies! Have you seen the wooden ones by Melissa & Doug?
