The Kids Cook Monday

posted by: Kia

This week we made Oven Fried Zucchini Sticks!  My friend Michelle, owner of What’s Cooking provided us with the recipe!  Please take some time to visit her fantastic site for lots of ideas on cooking with kids!!!  Getting kids involved in the kitchen is an important way to set them up with healthy eating habits.  Giving them knowledge and skills that will last a lifetime!

As always the first thing we do is wash our hands!

Then we will turn our ingredients into something yummy!

With some chopping…

Dipping…

and some fun shaking and mixing!

Then the hardest part…waiting!

And finally the best part….Mmm Mmm…these zucchini sticks were delicious!!!!

Happy Healthy Eating!
