Tropical Treasure Smoothies
Making smoothies with your kids is a great way to have a little fun together and get some fantastic fruits and veggies into their diet! You can change it up by combining different fruits and veggies and using various liquids as a base.
We generally use a one cup rule…one cup of everything!!!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Pinapple
- 1 cup Mango (Ataulfo is our favorite type)
- 1 cup Cantaulope
- 1 cup Baby Spinach (or just start out with a couple of leaves)
- 1 cup Coconut Water (add more based on desired texture)
- 1 cup Ice
Directions:
- Wash all your produce thoroughly.
- Cut up your fruits and veggies.
- Place them all in the blender.
- Add coconut water and ice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Enjoy!!!!!
You can also make delicious popsicles out of your smoothie mix…they are a perfect healthy snack on a hot summer day!
