Yes, I do often employ the power of brainwashing my children. My girls think that I have actually given them a treat when I serve these smoothies for breakfast. Oh, I make them beg and behave like angels before I agree to make them. Sneaky Mommy!

Everyone knows that blueberries and strawberries make you smart. Right? Really, they have actually done studies on the little lovely berries, and proven that they do indeed help your old noggin. ....

Once upon a time I was a new wife and pregnant mom determined to make sure my family ate healthy.

At five months pregnant I was digging a vegetable garden ‘” at eight months, I was harvesting … on my due date, I picked blueberries. We bought a food processor, and even before my child was born, I was mindfully preparing his first foods.

As a Food Explorer, one thing to focus on (with all those other things you’re to do!) is finding a way to incorporate fruits and/or vegetables into everything you make or prepare. Then you know every time you or your family eats, they are always getting that bit of produce goodness in every bite.
